What the website collects
The website has no forms or user accounts, sets no cookies and stores nothing in the browser. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to operate and secure the site. The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
When you write to a 3X Genetics email address, 3X Genetics receives your email address and your message and uses them to reply and, for an order, to provide the service. Please do not include medical details or patient-identifying information. 3X Genetics does not accept clinical data or patient-identifying information through the website or by email.
Enrichment design calculator
The calculator does not work out the design in your browser. The page sends the target to a 3X Genetics service, which returns the design and the price estimate. What the page sends is the locus you select from the list, or the GRCh38 coordinates you enter, or the sequence you paste together with the start and end positions you give for the target within it. When the page opens it also asks the service for the list of available loci. Your browser does not contact Ensembl, the UCSC Genome Browser or any other outside site for the calculator; the service retrieves reference sequence itself.
3X Genetics therefore receives what you submit to the calculator and the IP address the request comes from. As with the rest of the website, the calculator is not a route for clinical data or patient-identifying information.
Sharing and retention
3X Genetics does not sell or rent personal information. It shares information only with the providers that run the website and email (Cloudflare and Google Workspace) and where the law requires. Email is kept for as long as needed to answer it and for business records. To ask for your information to be deleted, write to [email protected].
Links, children and changes
Links to other websites, including LinkedIn, lead to sites governed by their own privacy policies. The website is not directed at children under 13. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
